Our news

The 2024/25 academic year is fast approaching, and we at Blumilk are proud to remember the work of our interns from the recently completed second round of internships.

The team included Dominik Prabucki, Dominik Purgał and Mykyta Mykulskyi, who focused on adding new functionalities to the application monitoring GitHub action logs.

Additionally, our interns worked on the development of an application for conducting online competitions, which will be continued in the coming semester as part of classes at Collegium Witelon State University.

Thank you all for your hard work and commitment.

We wish you good luck in the new semester and continue to develop your programming skills!

A week ago, or like today... We met at the Legnicki Meetup Technologiczny #2, but the emotions from that day are still vivid!

We would like to thank all participants for their large attendance - over 70 people (despite the unfavorable weather conditions) are proof of how much such initiatives are needed in Legnica.

It is thanks to you that we can create such events and build the local technological community together!

We would also like to thank our speakers: Przemek Sokołowski, Piotr Dobrowolski and Patryk Mauer. Your presentations were outstanding, and the number of questions during the Q&A and networking sessions only confirms it!

We would also like to thank the following for their patronage and organizational support:
Collegium Witelon State University,
Maciej Kupaj - Mayor of Legnica,
Legnica Special Economic Zone S.A.

Special thanks to the event partners:

The second round of internships at Blumilk began today!

Over the next two months, our ranks will be joined by talented students of the Faculty of Technical and Economic Sciences, majoring in Computer Science, with specialization in Mobile and Internet Application Programming, Collegium Witelon State University.

We warmly welcome Dominik Purgal, Dominik Prabucki, Mykyta Mykulskyi.

We look forward to working together. We face common challenges and projects that will certainly bring many benefits and satisfaction.

We wish you fruitful practices and much success!

This is the fourth year in a row that we have the pleasure of enabling students to gain valuable experience in our company. We are extremely proud of the achievements of our interns, who this year had the opportunity to carry out various projects, enriching their knowledge and skills that will serve them in the future.

Students of Collegium Witelon State University did great work, and here are some of them and their achievements: Jakub Kermes and Piotr Fedak - They worked on the BLT package, which makes it easier to test Laravel applications. It is worth adding that Piotr has chosen Blumilk for the second time as the place of his practice, which is a great honor for us. Bartosz Tracz – He also returned to our team, where he worked on a package for creating heatmaps, contributing to the enrichment of our analytical tools.  Paweł Orłowski and Wiktor Wojciechowski – They co-created the frontend and backend in an application for displaying action logs from GitHub, demonstrating their skills in the full application development cycle.

Each of the interns emphasized how important the possibility of teamwork, flexible hours and support from experienced programmers were to them. We are glad that we could provide this to them and contribute to their professional development!

Thank you all for your commitment and great work! We are already looking forward to the second round of internships, which starts on August 1. This will be another opportunity to develop together and gain new experiences.

See you in August!

We are proud to announce that we are once again one of the main sponsors of the international conference "Innovative solutions in the economy: Transport, Logistics & Production IRG 2023".

The conference, organized by the Faculty of Technical and Economic Sciences of the Collegium Witelon State University, the aim of which is to present modern solutions in key areas of the economy and industry.

IRG 2023 focuses on innovations in transport, logistics and production, providing participants with knowledge about the latest trends, technologies and practical challenges related to their implementation. The conference will also be an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss the conditions and limitations of using innovative solutions in business practice.

During the event, an article entitled "Distributed communication networks on the example of integration with the Erasmus Without Paper system" will be presented. The authors of the paper are blumik programmers - MSc Eng. Krzysztof Rewak and MSc Eng. Kamil Piech - and academic teachers. This article is part of our drive to connect academia with industry and present practical solutions in the field of IT.

At Blumilk, we are always close to the academic community. We conduct classes in the field of Computer Science, support the creation and updating of study programs, and offer internships for the most talented students. Participation in conferences such as IRG 2023 is part of our strategy to engage in the development of science and industry.

We look forward to more events in which we will have the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience.

The summer semester 2022/23 at The Witelon Collegium State University is just beginning and with it student internships at Blumilk.

After the success of previous editions, in which young and ambitious students gained valuable experience, we decided to continue our mission of supporting future professionals in the IT industry.

So far, we have organized several editions of internships, during which a dozen or so people could see what the daily work of a programmer looks like in practice. Many of these people, thanks to the experience they gained, found employment in the IT industry, and some of them joined our team permanently.

This year, we are planning even more interesting projects, which our experienced software engineers will work on. Students will take part in various tasks, which include IT project planning, work management, using the latest technologies, application testing automation and implementing IT systems in various environments.

We encourage everyone interested to apply!
